The creation of Sound Particles traces back nearly a decade before its beginning. I noticed that the most interesting visual effects in cinema - fire, explosions, fairy dust, sandstorms... - were all created using particle systems in computer graphics. This gave me the idea of applying a similar approach to sound, creating complex audio effects by combining thousands of small sounds.

In 2014, I was preparing for a scientific conference in Los Angeles and took the opportunity to contact studios to present my project "Sound Particles". The first positive response came from SkyWalker Sound (a studio founded by George Lucas during the production of Star Wars), who invited me to SkyWalker Ranch to present the prototype. Within six months, Sound Particles had been presented to major Hollywood studios and received immediate interest and requests for availability.

In 2015, the first film to use Sound Particles software to create sound premiered, and it has been used in productions ever since. Since then, multiple products have been released, receiving nominations and awards for best sound plug-in and groundbreaking innovation, with Grammy winners and media such as Sound on Sound praising its transformative impact.

Sound Particles products have been used by world-class musicians, AAA video game companies, and all major Hollywood studios in productions such as Oppenheimer, Indiana Jones, Mission Impossible, Star Wars, as well as modern TV classics such as Stranger Things and Game of Thrones.
